Gabion Basket are wire mesh boxes, containers or baskets filled with rock to prevent soil erosion and
to retain/contain soil particles. Flat Gabions, called River or Reno Mattresses, are widely used in river
courses where soil erosion is a problem over a large flat or sloped area in need of protection against
soil loss or scour. They are used mostly in the civil engineering industry, especially in the construction
of roadway drainage structures. Recently however, due to the environmental benefits associated with
gabions, they are being used in many various applications and industries.
Gabion boxes are made of triple twist hexagonal woven wire mesh. Gabions stand out as the simple, efficient and
economical solution, as the cages are simply filled with natural stone and also proven as environmentally friendly.
We design and supply Gabion Box made of double twisted hexagonal wire mesh or welded wire mesh. Thisk kind
of mesh not only used as a gabion box, it also can be customized, not only the shape, size. and also can add small
parts to make the mesh is more strong. one of our client asked us to add steel rope in the border and middle position,
the gabion can be in roll or a box.
